The Neighborhoods of Santa Fe, New Mexico- Fish & Chips
I took a quick walk for lunch today to The Second Street Brewery for the best Fish & Chips you will find anywhere. My office is about 200 feet away and my house is about a block away. I walked to work this morning hoping to take my first rail trip on the Rail Runner. It’s been in operation for about two years and I thought I’d take the morning for a round-trip excursion. When I got to the station… I determined that the sun was too low on the horizon for gazing at the scenery and that an 11:30 am departure will be better sometime next week. I had my camera with me so here are the Brewery, the train and my lunch.

My friend, Michelle Kirk, owner of Broken Beauties, wanted me to let you know about a very special place if you don’t know of it already. NM Plant Co. Greenhouses. Here are the directions;
Take Hwy 14, go past the state prison. About 3-4 miles past the prison is a café on the right, Take the first road past the café on your left, this is Rt.44
Go all the way to the end of the paved road (about five miles) Stay to your right , for at one place the road splits to the left. Stay right. This paved road will dead end at a dirt road.
Take the dirt road to the right and go to your second driveway on your left. There is a green sign that says NM Plant Co. Greenhouses. If you want the most gorgeous full, healthy and BIG hanging baskets for $5.00 then this is the place.
Then load up on all kind of flowers for $1.00 each.
Here is Michelle’s contact information and you can also find her and her company on my Business directory.
