February 3rd is Chinese New Year. There will be celebrations in Santa Fe. Nick, our 14 year old son, is studying 2nd year Mandarin Chinese and on Saturday, January 29th, Desert Academy will host a celebration of “The Year of The Rabbit” as a fundraiser event for the Spring Break trip to Taiwan. Watch a performance of Tai-Chi (Taiji), Erhu solos, Chinese Gung Fu Tea Ceremony, traditional Chinese poetry and songs and much more.
